Define Periodic Mass Copy Rules

Hi All-

Is there a way to configure periodic mass copy so that it would convert 8 year assets to 5 year assets as part of the process? I followed the documentation below for information on specifying Mass Copy rules but it points me to Defining Depreciation Books and says nothing about Mass Copy rules. I looked at the Mass Copy rules form within the Book Controls but didn't see any parameters where I could specify that sort of rule.

That being the case, am I right in assuming that I have two options?

1) As part of the month-end close for the CORP book, use Mass Transactions to change all 8 year assets to 5 year; or
