Question on variance

Hi,

There are 20 work orders we have found which are at status 80(Completion reported) but we noticed that there are no master routing exists for the parent items, hence no routing attached to work orders. BOM exists so part list is attached. Now we can not go ahead with these work orders as it will lead to unnecessary variances. I am looking for a solution to which will minimize the variances.

In test environment i did create a work order replicating this scenario and then.

1. I defined the routing for the parent item(run labor/setup labor/run machine)

2.Simulate and frozen cost update run for the parent item
