GL Essential Profile Options and Sequential Numbering Profile Option

Hi,

We have an existing implementation of R12 wherein there are approximately 25 Ledgers.

GL Responsibilities corresponding to above Ledgers have not been explicitly setup with Sequential Numbering Profile Option as 'Always Used'. Default Site Value for Sequential Numbering Profile Option is 'Partially Used'. However, this has lead to few issues with Document Number not being Assigned to a GL Journal if by over sight there is no Sequence Assigned to Journal Category. We would now like to have Sequential Numbering Profile Option as 'Always Used' for all GL Responsibilities.

Could you advise if there is an adverse impact on Setting this Profile in a LIVE Environment? Is there a Minimum/Recommended List of Profile Options which should be assigned to GL Responsibilities?
