Getting position from label

Hi Experts,

               I have a very silly question troubling me. How do we find the position name from the Label, assuming we are given with the label name. For example, if we are given the month name (Label) as "Jan 15" which is the label, how do we find the position name for this label? Is there a straight forward way? Please let me know.
