Epma Deployment takes hour or more for simple changes

We have pretty small application about 200mb with about 8 dimensions and 2 dense dimensions. Our deployment takes an hour or more if we just move a member or add a member in our attribute members and takes several hours when we make drastic changes. With oracle support we've deduced the issues within the planning/essbase side and not the EPMA side. Any suggestions?
