Oraclel Linux 6u7 software set for Cloud Control 12c Release 5

I am preparing to create a VM (VMWare ESXi 5.5) and install OL6u7 for the DBA to install OEM Cloud Control 12c Release 5.  I expect the DBA to use PuTTY and X-windows from a Windows 7 desktop to do the install (same setup as the Solaris server he has been using).  Should I start with the "Basic Server" software set and add the packages listed in  http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E24628_01/install.121/e22624/preinstall_req_packages.htm#EMBSC128  or is there a better starting software set?

Will the need for X-windows require additional packages?

The plan is to place both the DB and app on the same server.
