Retrying rows in ctxsys.dr$index_error

We are using Oracle text index on external FILE_DATASTORE system on 11gr2 SE on a 2 node RAC Linux x64 o/s

Now it has come to my attention the link to the path on instance 2 has been lost. Which means every time it has run on instance 2 it has done this:

DRG-11513: unable to open or write to file /projects/Attachments/17878815_schema.txt.ZIP

Now I have changed the job to run only on instance 1 which means every new file will be correctly indexed.

My question is how best to fix the ones that have been skipped. The fact they are good now to index, do I have to write some pl/sql to grab the rowid and then do an update on the file column eg:

Howdy, Stranger!
