Cost updated on Zero Stock Qty

Hi;

Using Cost Management SLA option "Update Average Cost" Item cost is updated of Item whether its stock on hand was zero, same cost value is transferred to GL. Now stock value in Inventory and GL is not tallied. Please advice how to address this issue; How to reconcile/match Inventory value with GL.
