Container Management

We are investigating JDE 9.1 Container management functionality to track full and empty returnable containers, and bill and refund container deposits.  We would like to be able to know where each discrete container (all with serial numbers) is at all times.  The Inventory Management implementation guide tries to explain the process, but is lacking in the detail and sequence required to do all the setup.  Has anyone out there implemented this process?  Do you have documents that you can share?
