Creating an Oracle Wallet

I am trying to create an Oracle Wallet (using OWM) in order to prepare for using HTTPS content. The database server I'm testing on already has a certificate saved in the /apps/certs directory.

(There are 2 files in this directory....one with a .cer extension and the other with a .crs extension). I've tried to import the certificate by selecting it from its saved location and by cutting/pasting

the contents into the OWM window (both ways failed). When I try to import a trusted certificate I get the following error:

Trusted certificate installation failed

Possible errors:

    • some trusted certificates could not be installed
