Unaccounted Units Inclusion on Closed WO

Hi all

I trust that you are well.

I am investigating the recommended method for including unaccounted units such as machine run hours or completed quantities on a WO that has already been taken through the manufacturing and variance accounting/journal process where the WO is closed for further processing.  The only way that I can think is to re-open the WO and rerun the manufacturing and variance accounting/journal process which would clear the unaccounted units, update various tables and create the journal entries to be posted to the G/L?
