Doc ID 125937.1 Adjusting Accumulated Depreciation Reserve as part of cost basis adjustment

As discussed in this documentation, I assume that the asset cost basis is adjusted downward through the asset workbence/books section of Oracle fixed assets.  Where would the accumulated depreciation be adjusted?  This field on the asset workbench is shaded not allowing data entry.  Thank you for your assistance.
