Relationship between Plan type and Planning item attribute with respect to Demand explosion.

Hi All,

I would like to know the relationship between Plan type(Manufacturing / Production / Master) and Planning item attribute with respect to Demand explosion.

So if I have my FG as MPP, Sub assembly as MPS and end item as MRP(Item Attribute) and do Master plan will the plan proceed down the supply chain bill of material to check supply/demand.

Similarly, if I do a Production Plan will the plan proceed down the BOM levels for the sub-assembly. or will it not since the end items are MRP Planned.

Are there any other setup for Demand Explosion for till the end of the BOM.
