EM12c: oms server down invalid username/password; logon denied

Hi there,
I'm having a problem for which I have already spent a great amount of time but still not finding the solution. I hope to get a great help here.
My environment:
1 Linux RHEL x86_64 machine where EM12c is running
1 Linux RHEL x86_64 machine where the DB (12c no containers) repository is running
1 Linux RHEL x86_64 machine where the DB (12c no containers) is installed on another site with standby database created
I lately performed a DB switchover exercise.
After the switchover I started oms and I got ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied. This message is logged on the oms log.
