Default quotation price based on purchase order creation date

Hi,

Can settings be made to ensure that purchase order always uses the quotation price that was effective a the time the purchase order was originally created?

We are using quotations in combination with price break where price breaks only is used to differentiate price over time, meaning price is10 €/EA 1-Aug-2015 - 31-Aug-2015 and 12€/EA 1-Sep-2015 - 30-Sep-2015.

When we create a new standard purchase order (order is created directly no purchase requisition process) the price on the PO defaults as the currently active quotation price, this is ok. The issue is when changes are made for an existing PO after some time,quantity of the shipment or new shipment may be created, price is then again picked from the active quotation which may have been updated. We would like the new quotations price only to default for new POs.
