SetAuthenticationResult() function is not displaying a custom message on the signin.html page in 9.2

We are currently in the process of upgrading our PS HRMS system from 9.1(PT 8.52)  to 9.2(8.54).

We have a customization on our Signin page, wherein we display a custom message using the SetAuthenticationResult() function, which is not working in 9.2 (PT 8.54) but is working fine in 9.1(8.52).

We see the following text on the signin.html page - "PSJDirectory#ExecuteTransaction()" instead of our custom message.

Also we have observed that the SetAuthenticationResult() function fails to display our custom message only when the LDAP authentication function is triggered. Any pointers are appreciated.
