deinstall 32-bit client on machine with 64-bit database
new windows 2012 server r2 machine.
oracle database 11g r2 (11.2.0.1.0) 64-bit installed to d:\oracle\product\11.2.0\dbhome_1.
oracle client 11g r2 (11.2.0.1.0) 32-bit installed to d:\oracle\product\11.2.0\client_2.
installs done separately.
the universal installer for one can't see the other one.
therefore deinstall.bat deletes the other one's ORACLE_HOME folder tree as well.
i want to remove the client so that i can rename it.
any hints as how to do this without either hacking the registry or starting from the ground up?
many thanks,
stephen.
