Dataguard on an ODA database to non-ODA standby server and vice-versa

Hi,

Can someone tell me if it is supported to configure Dataguard from an ODA database to a non-ODA standby server and vice-versa?

If so are there any implications when applying patches to this dataguard configuration over and above the instructions in MOS notes 278641.1 and 1900412.1?

All documentation I've read so far refers to ODA to ODA but not ODA to non-ODA.
