What's the best practice for postponing fixed asset depreciation start date
Hi,
We have assets that are incorrectly coded to start depreciating earlier in the year. Depreciation has already been booked. Now we realized that the Asset has not gone into service yet. We need to change the start date to be some time in the future. What's the best practice to reverse the depreciation already taken place, and the hold the asset until the day it is in service, which is still unclear at this point? Can you put the fixed asset on hold?
