Material Status at Locator level only

Hello,

   R12.1.3

  I have a Subinventory XX1 with a number of Locators attached to it. I want to prevent a subinventory transfer for just one of the locators Y1Y1 assigned  to XX1. I created a Material status and  checked the Locator box and left the subinventory box unchecked. I transferred the transaction Subinventory Transfer into the Disallowed list. I assigned the Status to the Locator. I went into the Subinventory Transfer menu and entered  Item in Sub XX1 and Locator Y1Y1.

The system allowed me to perform the Sub Transfer. Does the Subinventory Material Status take precedent over the Locator status ?
