AR: Functional Tax calculated from Functional Amount rather than from Converted Line Tax amount

edited Oct 14, 2015 10:01AM in E-Business Tax (MOSC) 1 commentAnswered

Hello,

Is it possible to make Receivables use the Functional Line amount to calculate the Functional Tax amount on a line, instead of the Converted Entered Tax Amount for use on GL Distributions?

For Example:

Functional Currency = ARS

TRX Entered Currency = USD

Exchange Rate = 5.6789

As it works today:

USD Line Amount = 111.11 (USD)

Therefore Functional (ARS) Line amount = 111.11 * 5.6789 = 630.98 (ARS)

Line Tax Rate = 21%

Entered Tax Amount = 111.11 @ 21% = 23.33 (USD)

Therefore Functional (ARS) Tax amount is calculated for the GL distribution as: 23.33 * 5.6789 = 132.49 (ARS) **

Can the Tax be calculated using the Functional Line amount, as per:

630.98 (ARS) * 21% = 132.51 (ARS) **

**As you can see (in this instance), there is a difference of 0.02 between the ARS tax amounts and this is what we would like to avoid.

Howdy, Stranger!
