Oracle Payroll: Check Payment - Reversal & Tax Payment
We have an issue on how we process the Payroll Check Reversal and Tax Payments.
Below is an example:
Our Payroll is a Bi-weekly Process.
Payroll run Date: 09/30. Taxes are paid very next day, i.e., on 10/01. Now if we do any checks reversals later (ex: 10/5) due to various reasons, we are having discrepancies with tax payments made Vs Payroll Data.
Tax payment amount transferred to GL is different from Payroll Tax data transferred to GL.
We would like to know how different companies handle this kind of scenarios.
