Database upgrade to 12.1.0.2

Our current database version is 12.1.0.1.  We have a setup where we have several physical standby databases.  One of these standby databases is converted to snapshot standby and we would like to use this database to perform test upgrade to 12.1.0.2.  Pre-upgrade checks were performed.  However, the snapshot standby database does not appear in the list of databases that may be upgraded in DBUA.  Is there any way to go around this?
