Running an open batch

Hi there, is it possible to run an open batch from folders other than the "inbox\batches\openbatch" directory?  For example, can they be run from someone's "My Documents"?  We want some people to be able to add files to the folder ready for the batch to run but not have access to the server.  Thanks
