Help needed in Forecast Tree configuration!!

Hi All,

The engine was first configured during the time of implementation and afterwards we never used it.

After some time our customer moved to other ERP source(From JDE to SAP) and now, they wanted to setup the analytical engine again with new planning level as per new EPR system.

So, we are trying to reconfigure the engine and that requires to re-build the forecast tree with new levels.

When I'm rebuilding the forecast tree for Batch profile, I can see the step to set up the Promotion Level.

But actually we are not using the Promotion Levels and the Engine mode is "dp". Then why this step is present in forecast tree configuration wizard?
