operational sourcing - adding an adhoc bidder - JDE 9.1

HI

I am trying to add an adhoc bidder to an event I have created.  But I keep gettting an error on adding the new bidder  - I have added an '01'to the UDC 01/SC and cleared cache but still I get the error.  Please can you advize if there is a processing option that I am missing or some other settting, so that I can get past this error message.
