Upgrade to 12.2 - Oracle Alerts

We are trying to Inventory our customizations for the Upgrade to 12,2.  Would the Oracle Alerts we created using sql be something we need to ensure has the APPS schema rather the modules schema or no schema designation at all?  Or is this handled by Oracle during the upgrade?
