ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied

Hi,

I am in the process of installing oracle 12c database with ASM storage. I was able to install the GI, ASM and RDBMS with out any issues. It created the database successfully using DBCA, however at the end of installation it was trying to start the database using srvctl and it is erroring out with below error.

PRCR-1079 : Failed to start resource ora.omnistd.db

ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied

CRS-5017: The resource action "ora.omnistd.db start" encountered the following error:

ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied
