Migrate BOM data to Released Items

Hi Folks,

I am looking at migrating BOM data for items which were released earlier. Since these were managed at a parent item level using ECOs, the parents items are Released.

We now intend to add the subassembly and component level information to these BOM.

WE DO NOT WANT TO REVISE THE PARENT DURING THIS MIGRATION.

Is there a back door entry to provision this BOM on the components.Has anyone run into this scenario and is there any tool / utility available to perform this action.

Any advise is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
