Demantra 7.3.0.1 to 12.2.4.1 upgrade

We are upgrading demantra from 7.3.0.1 to 12.2.4.1. We choose the platform and application upgrade. Our dp schema size is approx 200 gb. The upgrade has been running BAL for the past 22 hrs. It is running "Activate" t

hat's clicked when the modeler opens during the bal upgrade. It has created 392 indexes so far and still running modeler.exe session. Has anyone been in a similar situation. Is this normal ? Based on what I read bal applies the schema differences. Please Advise
