Exalytics: Filebursting - multibyte character set filenames not represented properly

Hi all,

we run BIEE 11.1.1.7.140715 on Solaris Sparc 64-bit and use the filebursting report generation.

When filenames are given with 'umlauts' (e.g. ä, ö or ü) the filename on destination site is not represented properly.

I do know of bug 14831544 and it's patch 1907639.1 - but searching the bug-database for this problem on Solaris I don't get anything, so I suppose it's not existent and consequently not patched there.

At BIEE-side we are able to give 'umlauts' to name the files. The locale at the Solaris 11 destination to hold the reports has it's locale set to 'C' which is a multibyte character set and we can name files with 'umlauts' there manually. But the generated reports are delivered with scrambled filenames.

Howdy, Stranger!
