R12.2.4 : adop phase=fs_clone is failing due to space

Hi,

We are executing  adop phase=fs_clone after a successful patching cycle.   However, it is failing with following error

SEVERE : Oct 13, 2015 12:59:04 AM - CAUSE - CLONE-20275   Minimum required space was at least "4,446,095" MB, but only "111,944" MB was available for use.

The clone is looking for over 4300 GB of free space.   I am not sure , how this space is calculated.  Here is the log

Physical verification of above directory shows less than 1G
