HI,

Im trying to install Siebel Tools 15.0.0.0 on my machine, which has Windows 7, 32-bit operating system. However, upon trying to install (module.exe) in the Installation folder, I get the error "OUI-10037 Unable to open Inventory. You may not have the proper permissions.", and doesnt proceed further. I checked the  location where the temp directories are created for the Install (c:\Users\SIKRISHN\AppData\Local\Temp\OraInstall2015-10-14_08-28-25AM), and made sure I have access to create new files there. I have admin access on my machine.

I am trying to understand which Location is it referring to, and throwing the error about privileges. From other posts over the internet, I searched for OraInst.loc and couldnt find the file. Found this post in Oracle community "
