XML-20210: (Fatal Error) Unexpected EOF with blank XML file

hi

we are facing an issue with a BI Publisher report

the issue is that for some scopes of data the XLS generated file is 0b size if the report is called using a Web Service. In the BI Publisher  log file we find the Error XML-20210

however if we generate the XML file from Bi Publisher and import it in Excel it works fine.

we have tried to troubleshoot this issue by activating debug mode : same error in the xdo.log file with the error [ERROR] Unknown record!!: record type=0x874

the generated XML file in the temp directory is empty but the XSL file is generated correctly
