Minimum version to implement data guard for E-business Suite

Hi,

We're planning to create a physical standby DB for our Oracle E-Business (12.1.3) Suite. I've come across this document: Business Continuity for Oracle E-Business Release 11i Using Oracle 11g Release 2 and later Physical Standby Database - Single Instance and Oracle RAC (Doc ID 1068913.1) saying that the minimum database version required is 11gR2. However, our current EBS database is 11.1.0.7.0, does this mean we can't implement DG on our database?

Or does the document specifies the minimum db requirement to implement EVERYTHING on that note (Business Continuity)
