How to make a dff conditionally required

Hi all,

here is my busines case

In quoting HTML (resp Quoting User) we have a DFF segment when null doesn't require any other constraint. When this DFF segment is filled requires others 3 DFFs to be filled too.

The way I found is setting DFF segment not required and using post update user hook.
Is there any possibility by using Framework personalization?

What if I have a similar case in an application with no user hooks? (ie. OM)

Do you have experiences/suggestions?
