Siebel interface using Websphere MQ series gets maxed out

Hi,

We have an interface with a legacy system which sends us msgs through a Sonic ESB middleware. On the Siebel side a Websphere Mq is configured with 5 recipient queues that receives the msgs and then passes it to the Siebel MQ series server transport which have 5 Receivers and Data Handlers configured to process the msg.

The interface is used to sync accounts from the legacy to Siebel with a batch job and the volume of msgs Siebel receives tends to be rather high (300K or more) so the job runs 10-12  hrs or a few more. The Siebel queues are seen to max out after a few hrs. And this causes the WMQ and Sonic ESB bridge to hang and ultimately crash, which requires a restart on the Sonic ESB side. That issue is being looked at by the middleware team. On the Siebel side we need to address the msgs piling up.

Howdy, Stranger!
