Planning application deployment failed. An Exception occurred during Application deployment.: Failed

Essbase admin services: 11.1.2.3.500.77

We had run a planning application deployment two days ago and our deployment had failed with the error.

ERROR Could not duplicate application "WSUPLN".  ORA-03114: not connected to ORACLE


Upon checking with our database administrator, our database seems to be running fine and in fact did indeed connect with hyperion servers. So we had re- run our deployment the next business day and received this error but not ORA-03114 the second time.
