R12.2.3 Patching Cycle: Will the code get migrated to both RUN and PATCH edition during cutover?

Hi,

We are facing some issues while migrating the custom sql (Packages and Procedures) code during the patching cycle (we are on R12.2.3) in cut over  phase.

Steps followed: 1. Patching cycle was opened. 2. Environment was set to PATCH edition. 3. Packages were compiled.  

The modified code is going to both PATCH and RUN edition.

We want to restrict our code migration to PATCH edition once Patching cycle is opened.

We have followed (Doc ID 1577661.1) as per the standard.

We are not facing any issue while migrating RDFs, shell scripts etc., those are getting moved to the correct edition(Patch edition).

Please advise and suggest.
