Asset depreciates even after retirement

Hi Friends,

We retired an asset fully in August and and ran the depreciation process and saw that asset is depciated until Nov. Reason was the end depr FY was November. But isn't it incorrect? It should have stopped depreciating after August.

We have a lot of assets and the problem here is these entries have flown to GL. (Accounting entries table have Distributed status).  We are not sure why it is depreciating beyond retirement.
