Error: "Object doesn't support this property or method" when opening first form

Hi,

A few of us at City of Columbus are using Java 1.8 with our WAM 1.9.1.1.2, even though it is not officially supported for that version.  Everything is basically working, but we get error "Object doesn't support this property or method" sometimes when opening a form from home screen.  Does anyone know of a workaround for this?  I have searched Oracle Support without much luck.  It doesn't seem like a ticket will do much good since this is not a supported configuration.
