Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. This means that users with generic domains (such as gmail.com, yahoo.com, and others) will no longer be granted access to the discussion forums and ideas labs. Oracle Payroll will not accept more than 2 decimals?

Our old payroll system calculated sick and vacation accruals to 6 decimal places.

Now we are implementing Oracle Payroll and have been told it will not accept more than 2 decimal places.

Is this a correct statement?

I mean it's not a limitation of the database and I do see a similar post suggesting it could be changed via:

GO to Sysadmin --> Application --> Currency and change the precision , be aware it will be changed for financials also.
