Depreciation for one asset has been run, yet there are no lines for this asset in the depreciaiton t

We have calculated depreciation on an asset.  There are no lines for this asset in the depreciation table.  When the asset is re-instated, it is re-instated at the original full value and not the depreciated value which I would expect since the depreciation table is empty for this one asset.  Any advice on trouble shooting this asset to locate reasons why it is not calculating depreciation correctly?
