SVM queries

Hi,

We have a T2000 server running Solaris 10 with SVM. The output of metastat for one of the internal disks shows "Needs maintenance". I tried the command as follows:

format -> select the disk that needs maintenance -> analyze -> read

there is no error shows. The output of iostat -En also shows no error.

If there is no problem with the disk, why the output of the metastat of the disk is showing "Needs maintenance"?

Any pointer is appreciated.
