Impacts of BI Publisher upgrade from 10.x to 11.x in other oracle products

Hi all,

 

I’m working with a client (telco Company) that has the following set of oracle products:

 

Oracle BIP – Version 10.1.3.4.2, Running on Red Hat 5.8, with DB 11.2.0.3.0

Oracle BRM – Version 7.4 PS 13, Running on Red Hat 5.8, with DB 11.2.0.3.0

Oracle SOA / AIA - Version 10.1.3.5, Running on Red Hat 5.4, with DB 11.2.0.3.0

Oracle AIA - Version 2.5, Running on Red Hat 5.4, with DB 11.2.0.3.

Oracle Siebel - Version 8.1.1.3, Running on Windows Server 2003 EE SP2, with DB 11.2.0.3.

For business reasons, such as the need to take advantage of new features in BRM 7.5+ BIP 11.x for invoice printing and finishing, and technical reasons, such as extended support from oracle, they are analyzing the possibility to upgrade.
