Why does Trial Balance - Detail RTF output of Account column (column1) show leading zero but Excel o

When I run the Trial Balance - Detail in GL and choose RTF as output, column 1 for Account Value does display a leading zero on an Account number (e.g. 01001) however when I choose Excel as the output, the cell value removes the leading zero and only shows cell content as 1001. Is there a fix for this for the generation of the Excel output?
