Product Costing - Cost Simulation / Frozen Cost

I have a raw material that is used in a hundreds of products.

When the cost of this item changes I need to rollup the cost to its parents.

Using the cost simulation UBE R30812 I can rollup the cost simulation with no problem. The problem we are facing is that we need to enter in the data selection hundreds of item numbers to simulate the cost "where it is used".

Does anybody know a better way to do it?

It is hard to believe that we need to go through this manual process to enter all item numbers where the raw material is used.
