Backup of the Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 10.1.3 Oracle Home and Inventory

Hi there,

Using following document, we plant to upgrade our Oracle Application Server:
Upgrading to the Latest OracleAS 10g 10.1.3.x Patch Set in Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 (Doc ID 454811.1)

In step 6, it advise to take a Backup of the Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 10.1.3 Oracle Home and Inventory.

How would we take this backup before upgrade?

Any steps and details would be highly appreciated.
