Configuring Fusion Middleware 11.1.1.7.0 fails at "Starting Managed Server: WLS_DISCO"

Hello Gurus,

For the past 2 weeks I have been having this issue when installing Oracel Portlets, Reports and Discoverer Fusion Middleware 11g on Solaris 11 (64 bit). below are a summary of my steps:

1. downloaded the required software:

--  RCU (11.1.1.7.0) utility, wls1036_generic.jar , Fusion middleware 11.1.1.2.0 , Fusion middleware 11.1.1.70 Patch set 6,

did not download a jdk because the Solaris OS has jdk1.7.0_55 installed

oracle@host:~$ java -version

java version "1.7.0_55"

Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_55-b13)

Java HotSpot(TM) Server VM (build 24.55-b03, mixed mode)

2. Set PATH=$JAVA_HOME/bin:$PATH

3. Installed Weblogic 10.3.6 : java -d64 -jar wls1036_generic.jar
