Tip of The Week: Archiving in PeopleSoft Expenses

For organizations where transactional volumes are large, retaining historical data on transactional tables can become a burden when the volumes of data reduce processing speed and efficiency in reporting or inquiring on information. To reduce this burden, process to archive historical or obsolete data can be used. PeopleSoft Expenses enables you to archive inactive data on the transaction tables to history tables using the PeopleTools Data Archive Manager.
